Our trip to Baldonnel
Last Tuesday the 17th of November, Our class went to Baldonnel to see the lads working in the Air Corps. The two lads that were showing us around were called James and Kevin. James is Shakur’s foster brother. They were showing us all kinds of guns. The first one was a Machine gun, the second gun was a Rifle, the third was a Rocket launcher and the last one was a Pistol. It was really cool the way they were showing us the guns, jets and planes. The plane that the Irish President goes on is worth 25 million euro. It was really cool we were taking selfies on the planes and the helicopters. The seats were really comfortable. When they were showing us the jets, we had to be careful with the buttons and stuff. We didn’t sit in the jets because they’re dangerous. There was a pub and loads of buildings at the Airbase. The weather was really windy and cold and wet. It didn’t stop us from going around and looking at everything though. It was savage. We got to look in the Museum. There was loads of old Army uniforms and stuff and there were pictures of loads of army people as well. My friend Dorothy’s foster Daddy was in the Army 21 years ago. She was showing us a picture of her foster Daddy in army uniform. I had a great time.
